Following repeated child-injury incidents near two schools in Saint-Louis, Sénégal, Amend has implemented new infrastructure to calm traffic and create safer crossings. The upgrades now offer more secure daily journeys for around 1,300 pupils in the Darou Salam community.
In Bouaké, Côte d’Ivoire’s second-largest city, more than 5,700 children at four schools now benefit from safer journeys to class.
