Today in London, Amend's Safe Schools Africa program won the 2024 Premier Award at the annual Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards. Of this year's 22 award winners, Safe Schools Africa was judged by the expert panel of road safety professionals to be the "most outstanding winner of the year."

In partnership with the FIA Foundation, the Agence française de développement we have installed lifesaving infrastructure at two schools in Thiès, Senegal where children are at high risk of road traffic injury, and today we cut the ribbon. Check out a video.
Last Friday we cut the ribbon on brand new, lifesaving infrastructure at Kayole One Primary School in Nairobi, Kenya where four children have been killed and injured on the roads recently. Speed bumps, sidewalks and signage save lives. Check out a video.
